I had a very busy day and I needed something fast to make for dinner since my family was coming over. Now I haven’t had time to go grocery shopping yet so I knew I didn’t have much to choose from. Luckily, I had some hamburger in the freezer and I knew what I had to make. This recipe is so very easy and it uses things you probably already have in your pantry. This homemade sloppy joe recipe tastes soo much better then the stuff you can get in a can. I hope you enjoy it as much as my family and friends do!

  • 2 lbs. Lean Ground Beef
  • 1 tsp.Mustard
  • 3/4 C. Chopped Onions
  • 4 TBSP. Brown Sugar
  • 1 TBSP. Flour in
  • 1/2 Water
  • 2 tsp. Vinegar
  • 1 C. Ketchup
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce


1. Brown meat with Onions. Drain off fat.

2. Mix all other ingredients then add to meat.

3. Cover and cook for 20 minutes. Stir occasionally.
